PANTELIS PETRIDIS
Pantelis Petridis was born in Ermoupolis, Syros in 1986 and since the age of 8 he has been involved in music, piano and bouzouki. He studied piano, theory and harmony at the Attic Conservatory of Syros and the Attic Conservatory of Athens. Graduate of the Kapodistrian University of Athens – Department of Political Science and Public Administration. From a young age he works as a professional musician in concerts, performances, recordings, discography as well as in nightclubs. At the same time, he taught music at the Filippos Nakas Conservatory. He was a collaborator of the organization for the collective management of the relative rights – GEA GRAMMO ERATO APOLLON, as well as the first music site in Greece partitoura.gr, writing scores. He has collaborated with many Greek artists as a pianist (for example: Giannis Spanos, Eleni Dimou, Giannis Miliokas, Vassilis Kazoulis, Tassos Vougiatzis, Aleko Arapi, George Dimitriadis, Konstantinos Christoforou, etc.). He is a partner of ΕΝΧΟΡΔΑΙΣ & ΟΡΓΑΝΟΙΣ giving piano and music theory lessons.
Syros has a musical culture with deep roots. I would like to see more children involved in music, the rebetiko that was born in this place, to learn, and to love the great Greek Composers. Music nourishes not only the mind, but the heart and the soul.
